A dispute between an 18-year-old Turk and his 62-year-old father in Wörgl has completely escalated. At first threats were made, but eventually the son became violent. After an attack with a kitchen knife, the father was taken to hospital and the son was arrested.
An 18-year-old Turk ran towards his 62-year-old father in front of the door of an apartment in Wörgl in Tyrol (Kufstein district) on Thursday afternoon and stabbed his left thigh with a kitchen knife. The man was injured and subsequently had to be treated as an outpatient in hospital. Previously, police officers and the father had tried unsuccessfully to get the son to open the door several times after an argument.
Father called the police
The 18-year-old was arrested by officers. A report to the Innsbruck public prosecutor awaited him. The crime was preceded by an argument between father and son in their shared apartment. The teenager threatened the 62-year-old Turk. Ultimately, the father called in the executive branch.
