The police in Dietach (Upper Austria) are currently concerned about a mysterious accident. A 30-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a stone wall and was thrown back onto the road. The police are now looking for a car that may have fatally injured the cyclist.
The tragic traffic accident took place on Saturday night in Dietach on the B309 towards Steyr. The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old from Steyr, left the road for unknown reasons and crashed into an adjacent stone wall in the bulge of the road. The force of the impact sent the driver onto the opposite road.
Autopsy ordered
The emergency doctor was only able to determine that the man was dead, but it is still unclear what caused the 30-year-old to die. It is still unclear whether the death was caused by the collision or by other vehicles involved.
The police are investigating and looking for witnesses. The B309 was closed for about three hours during the recording of the accident. The Steyr Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered an autopsy on the body and seized the vehicle involved in the accident.
