A new wave of violence in September
Sweden has been struggling with rampant gang crime for years. This month the country is experiencing a renewed wave of violence, which is said to have its roots in an internal conflict within a criminal network in the capital region around Stockholm. Police are currently investigating whether the shooting in Sandviken is related to this or other previous firearms incidents.
