Tumult on Saturday around one o’clock in the morning in St. Veit (Carinthia): an unknown perpetrator has left a trail of destruction in residential complexes.
Loud noise woke a 35-year-old St. Veiterin from her sleep on Saturday night – an unknown perpetrator threw a brick he had stolen from a neighboring construction site against her kitchen window.
Facade sprayed with fire extinguisher
“The person then went further and sprayed the entire contents of a fire extinguisher on the facade of a nearby residential complex,” the police said. “On the first floor, a 62-year-old had his window tilted – his living room was heavily soiled.”
But that wasn’t enough for the rioters. At another residential complex, he again grabbed a fire extinguisher and sprayed its contents over a tilted window in the bedroom of a 71-year-old. “The emptied fire extinguisher was recovered by the police,” police said.
Rioters wanted by police
“They were alerted by a witness who also saw the perpetrator. According to their description, it is a slim person about 170 cm tall who was wearing a dark hoodie.” A search turned up nothing, so the police are asking for useful information on 059133/2120.
