The mayor of Wels, Andreas Rabl (FPÖ), explained how we can stop the death of the inner city and which measures will bear fruit at an event organized by the Liberal Economy. The Upper Austrian has even managed to minimize vacancy in the city center of Wels and make it more attractive. Under him, the occupancy rate in the center rose to 97.7 percent. Since 2016, there have been almost 400 vacancies in the city center, an average of 55 per year.
