Shortly after midnight on Sunday, a garden shed burned down in Altach (Vorarlberg). The cause of the fire was probably a defective photovoltaic battery.
At 1 a.m. the Florianijüngers had to leave Altach – to an allotment settlement. There was a garden shed on fire. A man who was in the gardens had previously tried to put out the fire with water from buckets, but to no avail.
Only the fire brigade managed to get the situation under control. The cause of the fire turned out to be a defective photovoltaic battery located in the back of a caravan. No one was injured as a result of the incident. However, the entire garden house and the immediately adjacent allotments were damaged by the fire.
