According to the police, there was an argument between two 35-year-old men on Wichnergasse in Feldkirchen on Saturday at 2:10 p.m. One of the two suddenly attacked his opponent with a knife and stabbed his victim several times in the upper body. The man was seriously injured as a result.
After the attack, the perpetrator fled on foot along the castle moat towards the Bärenkreuzung and was eventually arrested by the police in the city center. The victim received emergency medical treatment at Feldkirch State Hospital. The injured man is now out of danger. The motive is currently unclear and remains under investigation.
