Fortunately for the driver of a livestock transporter on Saturday morning in Hopfgarten in the Tyrolean Brixental: the trailer tipped over in a bend and had to be put back upright by the emergency services. The animals were unharmed.
The driver drove his vehicle on Brixentalstrasse around 11 a.m. He had several cows in his transport truck that he had previously picked up from the mountain pasture. After the railway underpass, the trailer overturned for unknown reasons.
About 30 members of the Hopfgarten fire brigade had to put the vehicle back on the ground with the winch. The area around Brixentalstrasse had to be temporarily closed. After just over an hour the operation was over.
Then the farmer could continue his journey. Until then, the cows in an adjacent pasture were able to recover from the shock. They were unharmed and arrived safely at their stable a short time later.
