On Sunday evening, a shot rang out through the Rehberg district of Krems. Moments later an emergency call came in. The victim was on the phone, but at the same time he was also the shooter. The 41-year-old shot himself in the left thigh. Accidentally.

The accident happened at home while cleaning his gun. Shots were fired and the man was seriously injured. Because he could no longer open the door for the rescuers, they managed to gain access to the Kremser’s house, treated the bleeding wound and then took the injured man to the hospital.
