An unknown perpetrator shot at people in an apartment and a hospital in Rotterdam shortly before 2:25 pm on Wednesday afternoon. The man is said to be wearing combat clothing, riding a motorcycle and probably in hiding in the hospital.
“The perpetrator may have been riding a motorcycle. Wears combat gear, is tall, has black hair, mid-twenties, has a backpack and headphones, carries a gun. Did you see H im? Call 112!”, the police said on X.
However, it is suspected that the perpetrator is still in hospital. The police comb the building.
The hospital is being searched
Shots were initially reported in an apartment in the west of the city. A little later, according to the information, a shooting took place in a lecture hall of the Erasmus Hospital – about 1.5 kilometers from the apartment. No information was given on the exact condition of the injured.
