A motorcyclist had to avoid a car in Schnifis (Vorarlberg) on Tuesday and fell 15 meters down an embankment. The man suffered serious injuries, but was able to inform the emergency services about the accident himself.
A 53-year-old motorcyclist fell about 15 meters over a dike in Schnifis on Tuesday afternoon. According to the man, the reason was an evasive maneuver because a white car was coming towards him in the middle of the road, the police report. This caused the man to run off the road. He was able to make the emergency call himself and was flown to the hospital after being rescued from the impassable terrain. Witnesses are being sought.

The motorcyclist was on the L54 towards Thüringerberg shortly before 5 p.m. when an accident occurred at kilometer 10.43. The 53-year-old was flown to Feldkirch State Hospital in an emergency helicopter.
