Adegi predicts that Gipuzkoa’s economy will grow by 2% in 2023, without ruling out stagnation in the second semester

Gipuzkoa’s business association, Adegi, maintains its forecast that Gipuzkoa’s economy will be around “a 1.5 or 2% this year”, with the creation of more than 4,000 jobs, although it does not rule out “stagnation” for the second half due to high inflation.

At a press conference in Donostia/San Sebastián, the president of Adegi, Eduardo Junkera, accompanied by the general director of the Guipuzcoan employers’ association, José Miguel Ayerza, and the head of competitiveness and innovation, Patxi Sasigain, reported on the main data of the latest situation study that the association conducted in September.
