A passerby alerted the police due to a loud argument in an apartment in Klagenfurt. The officers tried to separate the fighters, a 26-year-old and his girlfriend (31). But that only made the Klagenfurt resident angrier.
They had to leave him alone, he was just arguing with his girlfriend – so the Klagenfurt resident tried to quickly get the police officers out of his apartment. The man and his girlfriend were noticed by a passerby because of their argument, who called the officers. “During this conversation, a loudly screaming and tearful female voice could be heard in the apartment stating that everything was fine,” police said.
However, the 26-year-old became increasingly aggressive and tried to slam the door in the face of one of the officers. The 31-year-old then intervened during the arrest. A scuffle broke out and the 26-year-old kicked one of the police officers in the face. The 26-year-old continued to try to avoid the official action with kicks and punches. The man from Klagenfurt then punched the second officer in the face.
Only considerable physical strength and the arrival of additional police officers brought the two rioters under control.
Various drug paraphernalia, a butterfly knife, a machete and a gas pistol were also found in the home in St. Ruprecht. Both residents of Klagenfurt are reported.
