Big alarm in the Mühlviertel (Upper Austria)! The fire brigade in Vorderweißenbach has been fighting a fire on an agricultural plot since 12.06 am. Alert level three has now been declared and more and more fire brigades are arriving on site.
Around lunchtime a fire broke out in the Bernhardschlag district of Vorderweißenbach. The fire spread quickly. First, five fire brigades from the area arrived on site. But the numbers increased almost every minute and more fire departments were alerted. 18 fire brigades from the Rohrbach and Freistadt districts are now fighting the inferno.
Cause still unclear
It is currently unclear what caused the fire. The Red Cross reports that three people are currently receiving medical care.
