Infections are often only recognized (too) late
Bed bugs spread quickly: one female can create an entire population. They are often not recognized in time because the rash does not always appear immediately.

However, traces of feces in the bed can be an indication of a bed bug infestation. In any case, quick and effective control of bed bugs is necessary to prevent their spread.

Expert tips for combating:
- If you suspect an infestation, contact a pest control professional to quickly prevent its further spread
- Change the bedding regularly. Textiles should be washed in the washing machine at 60 degrees for at least 30 minutes
- Please do not carry your luggage directly into the bedroom upon arrival
- Many people underestimate the parasites and ignore the fact that they can also be introduced into their own homes through public transport seats
- Essential oils or scented candles can prevent the spread in the short term. Make sure the bed is not in direct contact with the wall; bed bugs cannot fly
By the way: bed bugs are nocturnal animals and therefore cannot be discovered during the day. When they are active for a long time, a sweet smell spreads through the rooms.
