Interrogation ended – trans nurse admits stabbing, names motive

Date:

Confession! The 24-year-old nurse who allegedly stabbed her protégé in the Innviertel has now been interrogated at the forensic department in Linz. She admitted to the crime and also stated her motive. It was almost expected; it has to do with the consequences of her sexual orientation.

“The suspect does not involve unknown third parties and does not deny the crime. “She admits to stabbing,” said Alois Ebner, spokesperson for the Ried public prosecutor’s office, saying the investigation after the fatal knife attack in Geretsberg has taken a decisive step further.

After the suspected killer calmed down – she was significantly intoxicated and in a state of mental distress when she was arrested – she was able to be questioned by forensics homicide investigators. She admitted that she took the knives from the kitchen and stabbed her protégé, whom she was serving for the second time. The nursing staff is always with the foster child for a month and then at home for the same amount of time.

Seized and harassed
The Slovakian stated that she had drunk a bottle of wine before the crime, but this does not correspond to the alcohol level, which was higher than would be expected from this statement. The motive for the crime was ‘pent-up anger’. The 24-year-old, born as a man and appearing as a woman as a transgender caregiver, was also seduced by the caregiver for this very reason. However, there was also sexual harassment on his part.

“There is also a mental illness in the direction of borderline syndrome,” says Ebner. However, a psychiatric report must first be ordered to check mental health. The suspect will most likely be transferred to normal custody soon.
