The sight turns your stomach and brings tears to your eyes. The men shout “Allahu Akbar” and spit on their heads. We are deliberately not showing the video, but we believe the world should be aware of such atrocities.
Her name is Shani Louk
The Hamas fighters kidnapped the young woman, with distinctive tattoos on her legs, at a music festival in Kibbutz Re’im. Their fate is unclear. What is clear is that she is German.
Several media outlets, including news channel CNN, the Washington Post and Germany’s Bild, have confirmed her identity. It’s the tattoo artist Shani Louk.
Mother begs for help
Her uncle told ‘Bild’ that Shani and her boyfriend had organized the music festival in the kibbutz. “They regularly organized festivals and traveled all over the world with them.”
Since the brutal attack on Israel, she has been unable to reach her family. “We recognized her by her tattoos and she has long dreadlocks,” Louk’s cousin told The Washington Post.
Her mother Ricarda Louk is also certain that it is her daughter.
She says in a video: “We were sent a video on which I could clearly recognize our daughter. Unconscious, in the car with the Palestinians as they entered the Gaza Strip.” In the video, the desperate mother pleads: “I ask for any help, any news.”
30 missing women
Many more young women, soldiers in the Israeli army, are missing and are believed to have been kidnapped following the massive attacks on Israel by the radical Islamic Palestinian movement Hamas.

A list of thirty missing women whose families are asking for information is circulating on Twitter. An RTL/NTV reporter on site reported rapes.
“People are being kidnapped and taken hostage on motorcycles and jeeps to the Gaza Strip. I hear about rape here too,” Raschel Blufarb said.
On Saturday afternoon, an Israeli army spokesman confirmed the kidnappings of Israelis by Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip. The spokesman said soldiers were among those abducted, without giving any information on the number of abductees.
