The shock is still deep after a nighttime shooting in Vienna-Floridsdorf last Saturday. A total of four people were injured and four suspects were arrested. During the subsequent interrogation, everyone involved confessed.
The reason for the shooting in Floridusgasse was a long-standing dispute between two families. The current reason was the argument about “a woman”, about which the suspects provided no further information, the police reported on Monday.
Multiple stab and gunshot wounds
The police arrived together with WEGA to get the situation under control as quickly as possible. Three brothers aged 22, 26 and 27 and a 23-year-old were injured in the tragic incident. They were taken to hospital with stab and gunshot wounds.
Gun in the garbage can
A short time later, an unregistered firearm was also found in a garbage bin. The officers found the other weapon at an unspecified hiding place that a suspect had revealed to them during interrogation. According to police, the suspects also include three brothers aged 22, 25 and 28, as well as the 54-year-old father.
