Unusual performance for the Florianis in Schwendau (Schwaz district) on Thursday! A young cattle fell into a manure pit near a barn. Emergency services were able to free the animal from its plight via a self-constructed path.
The firefighters of the Schwendau Volunteer Fire Department must have been surprised when they were called to their location on the Kleinschwendberg on Thursday around 5:30 p.m.
A young cattle fell into an open manure area near a field barn. The animal got stuck there and could not get out.
About getting out of the trap
The emergency services had to work creatively. First the well was pumped empty. A path was then constructed through which the cattle could be freed from their predicament by joining forces.
The manure storage was then completely emptied. A wooden fence was also placed around it to prevent similar incidents in the future. Six Floriani disciples were on duty for about an hour.
