It thus becomes the most restrictive state in the United States regarding voluntary termination of pregnancy. The law prohibits any abortion except when the mother’s life is in danger or the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest.

Oklahoma this Thursday passed a law banning abortion from the time of conception, making it the most restrictive state in the United States on voluntary termination of pregnancy. The rule will go into effect when Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signs it.
The law prohibits any abortion except when the mother’s life is in danger or the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest.
In addition, it allows citizens to sue any company or person that assists a woman in the interruption of her pregnancy.
Oklahoma already has a law that, like Texas, prohibits abortions from the first six weeks of pregnancy.
