Debt dispute – gunshot alarm: Cobra stormed the house

A man desperately asked for help at the clinic in Kittsee (Burgenland). He said he was bound, gagged and abused in a home. The alleged victim had a wound that appeared to be a gunshot wound. The alarmed special Cobra unit then stormed the possible crime scene where two suspects were located. The investigation is progressing quickly.

In the present case there are said to be two suspects from Slovakia who live in Austria. The injured man is an Austrian living in Slovakia. The two alleged perpetrators allegedly lured the victim to a home in Kittsee. What exactly happened next is still under investigation.

Cobra warned
It is certain that the Austrian showed up late on Friday at the clinic in Kittsee and reported a brutal act of violence. Accordingly, the man was allegedly bound, gagged and put under pressure. And he showed hospital staff a wound that looked like a gunshot wound. The doctors were able to identify and treat two circular burns, a needle puncture wound, redness on the wrists and a hematoma on the face.

Weapons found in house
Based on the patient’s descriptions, the Cobra was alerted. The special unit stormed the house where the man was allegedly abused. Two men were present at the scene of the suspected crime. Firearms and sporting weapons with ammunition were found, as well as a CO₂ weapon from which the gunshot wound could have come. Traces also show that the alleged victim received an injection. The investigation is in full swing.

Suspects in general
“The investigators must get to the bottom of all clues,” it says. According to initial investigations, it was probably a dispute over outstanding debts. The suspects are still on the run for the time being.
