There was a robbery at an apartment in Vienna-Neubau on Thursday morning. A 79-year-old was seriously injured. The daughter immediately alerted the police after the retiree informed her that she had been robbed.
The retiree suffered serious injuries to her face and wrists as a result of multiple blows. The 79-year-old couldn’t remember any details, probably because of her head injury.
Nonviolent access is assumed
The police currently assume that the foreigners could have gained access to the apartment without violence. It is currently unclear whether the perpetrators stole anything from the apartment.
The investigations are currently underway.
