On Saturday afternoon, a 58-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, both from the Feldkirchen district, were driving their car on the B94. A clash then took place at the castle ruins of Glanegg.
“The two vehicles collided for unknown reasons and were thrown off the road,” police said. “While the woman crashed into a tree on the side of the road, the 27-year-old’s car flipped over and came to rest lying on its roof in the ditch.”
Passersby helped the young man out of the car – the 58-year-old was able to free himself. “After arrival, we were able to secure the accident scene and determine that no driver was seriously injured,” explains the Glanegg Volunteer Fire Department – Maria Feicht. “After the cleanup work, we were able to leave the accident scene and move to the armory.” Both drivers were taken to the Klagenfurt clinic by the rescue team.
