Date:

Tragic rear-end collision Monday evening on the St. Veiter Expressway in Carinthia: A drug driver (46) crashed with full force into the car of a 37-year-old. The driver was injured and one of her two dogs was thrown from the trunk and killed.

Monday evening 6:55 pm at the construction site of the St. Veiter Expressway towards Klagenfurt: a 37-year-old driver had to stop her car due to traffic – which the driver behind, who was driving demonstrably without control of his senses, apparently did not notice.

The car crashed into the back of the stationary car without braking. With fatal consequences: the 37-year-old’s two dogs were in the trunk. One of the four-legged friends was thrown from the vehicle by the force of the impact and suffered fatal injuries.

Driver’s license taken away
The owner also had to be taken to hospital with injuries of an unknown nature. This also applies to the 46-year-old driver of the accident, on whom the drug test performed was positive. In addition to a series of complaints, his driver’s license was also immediately confiscated.
