82-year-old was a victim – Home invasion in Tyrol: Three suspects unmasked

Date:

After the home invasion at the end of August in the Tyrolean Gnadenwald (Innsbruck-Land district), in which an 82-year-old pensioner was attacked and robbed by strangers in her home, the police now had three suspects. House searches also took place. The trio is in custody.

The brutal robbery of the 82-year-old local woman took place on August 29 at around 10.30am. “The woman was in her unlocked home at the time. “Two previously unknown perpetrators broke into the building, forcibly pushed the victim from the entrance back into the house and demanded money and valuables,” investigators said at the time.

The perpetrators were masked
The 82-year-old complied with the request and handed over several hundred euros to the darkly dressed and masked perpetrators. The unknown suspects also took at least one piece of jewelry and a cell phone before fleeing. An alarm search failed at the time.

Trio fell into the police net
Now, almost two months after the coup, Tyrolean police were able to track down and arrest three suspects: Austrians aged 25, 33 and 37. The third was probably the driver of the getaway car.

Searches, confessions
Searches were carried out at the homes of the suspected perpetrators on Monday and drugs and evidence were seized. The victim’s stolen mobile phone and an airsoft pistol were also seized.

According to investigators from the Tyrolean State Police, the three suspects have appearedfully known.” You are in custody.
