Arson again in Bessarabierstrasse in the city of Salzburg: Late on Thursday evening, residents were confronted with a fire for the fourth time. Unknowns set fire to a stroller on the fifth floor. Several residents had to be treated by the rescue team.
In addition to the fire brigade, the Red Cross also had to be deployed in the Liefering/Lehen district on Thursday, because several residents were injured as a result of the heavy smoke and fire.
However, the arson on Thursday evening is not the first. Fires had already broken out there between June and August 2023. Strollers, tricycles and cars have already been set on fire.
It is still unclear whether it is the same arsonist as before.
