A 28-year-old man was killed in a tragic traffic accident in the Murau district of Styria on Saturday night: he may have lost control of his car in the pouring rain and crashed into a tunnel portal. He sustained fatal injuries.
The drama started around 1 am when the driver from Murau drove from Scheifling on Friesacher Straße B317 towards Judenburg. It was pouring rain at the time and according to the police, the 28-year-old must have accelerated quite a bit after the Scheifling area.

The B317 was completely closed for about two hours for clean-up work, two fire brigades were present with 36 men.
