All ready to enjoy the highly anticipated competition plus editions of the Audi RS 4 Avant and the RS 5

Audi Sport GmbH is launching the new Competition Plus editions for the Audi RS 4 Avant and Audi RS 5, which make the appearance of these models more sporty and the driving experience even more exciting. With its new coilover suspension (RS sport pro), the Competition Plus editions offer maximum dynamics and driving pleasure without compromising practicality for everyday use. Reducing the insulation between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment saves weight and makes the sound experience even more exciting. The powerful V6 biturbo delivers 331 kW (450 hp) of power and 600 Nm of torque between 1,900 and 5,000 rpm. The competition plus editions, which also include new standard equipment, will be available from dealers from July at an additional cost of EUR 20,000 over the base price of the Audi RS 4 Avant and RS 5.

Despite being developed with the aim of increasing driving pleasure, the manually adjustable RS sport pro sport suspension with coilover provides an ideal balance between comfort and performance. This allows long journeys to be made with all available assistance systems and without any restrictions. Customers who opt for the Competition Plus editions will receive their RS 4 Avant or RS 5 with a 10 mm lowered body height compared to the standard RS models; In addition, the adjustment options make it possible to manually reduce the height by an additional 10 mm. Higher spring rates, three-way adjustable dampers and stiffer anti-roll bars improve the driving experience and help reduce lap times on the track. The dynamic steering ratio is set at a ratio of 1:13.1.

With all these adjustments, Audi Sport GmbH allows customers to enjoy more precise and agile driving, further improving the dynamic behavior while driving on the track.

The Audi RS 4 Avant is available on the Spanish market for a price from 104,850 euros; those of the Audi RS 5 Coupé and the RS 5 Sportback start from 109,200 euros. The prices of the competition plus editions represent an increase of 20,000 euros over the respective base prices of each model.
