Expert gives tips: – ‘The savings account only makes sense in the medium term’

Date:

On the occasion of World Savings Day next Tuesday, the children of Tyrol will once again bring their piggy banks to the bank. Does saving still make sense in times of high inflation? And what are the possible alternatives? The “Krone” interviewed an expert and provided data and facts.

The Tyrolean banks are also happy with the many children who empty their piggy banks today on World Savings Day. Despite inflation, which is still quite high, the classic savings account seems to be the most popular way not only for the little ones but also for adults to increase the money they have put aside and is once again celebrating a “comeback”. At least that is evident from an IMAS survey commissioned by Erste Bank and Sparkasse.
