The scene of the escalation of violence on Friday night was the fountain in the heart of Graz City Park. Police say three boys got into an argument over money debts.

The feud then escalated: Two grazers (17 and 15 years old) beat a 16-year-old until he fell to the ground. According to the police, they would have kicked the young people lying on the ground and already unconscious.
The seriously injured 16-year-old from Graz was taken by ambulance to the LKH Graz. The suspects were released after questioning.
