At a Halloween party, a man (25) disappears on his way to the toilet

Date:

Fright at a Halloween party in Mondsee (Upper Austria). In Sankt Lorenz, a 25-year-old man disappeared after going to the toilet. His girlfriend eventually raised the alarm and a large contingent of firefighters went to search.

Around 2:45 a.m., the 25-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district personally reported the absence of her 25-year-old boyfriend to PI Mondsee officers who were at the Halloween festival site in Sankt Lorenz. He left the event hall around 10:45 PM to go to the toilets because he felt sick.

Phone not answered
However, he never returned there. She then searched the area with friends, without success. Telephone contact was also no longer possible; the mailbox was always immediately on.

The fire brigade was informed
The police also did not find the man and a check in his main home also yielded no results. Tracking of mobile phones via the State Criminal Investigation Department was also unsuccessful. After subsequent consultation with the Vöcklabruck BH news service, the fire brigade was also informed.

Searching with a drone
The St. Lorenz, Oberwang and Oberhofen fire brigades (each equipped with a drone) carried out search flights over the location and the surrounding area in divided corridors. The other fire brigades Mondsee, Keuschen and Guggenberg supported the search on foot.

Found in forest
Around 5:20 am the woman was finally able to reach her friend by telephone again. He stated that he was in a forest and had lost his bearings. The 25-year-old was guided back to the festival site by telephone from the forest. After the first treatment, he was taken to the Salzkammergut Klinikum Vöcklabruck for further treatment.

Man was taken down
This was not the only incident at the festival. At 3.20am, a 21-year-old from the Gmunden district was hit by a car on the B154 and left injured. Two 25-year-old women attended to the man and called emergency services.

Any witnesses can contact the Mondsee police station on 059133/4167-100.
