In Austria, 2,572 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Saturday). 10 other people infected with the virus died. In the normal wards of the hospitals, the occupancy rate fell by one place (593 in total), the number of patients in the intensive care units also decreased by one place (54 patients in total).
So far there are 4,231,480 positive test results in Austria. As of today (9:30 am 21 May), 18,343 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died and 4,166,123 people have recovered across Austria. There are currently 647 people infected with the corona virus in hospital. Of these, 54 are in intensive care.
