Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched noisily through Graz’s city center on Saturday evening, waving flags. The police presence was expanded and several reports were filed.
Around 6 p.m., several hundred participants gathered at Europaplatz in Graz for an officially registered meeting. The participants, expressing their solidarity with Palestine, marched from the main station via Annenstraße to Südtirolerplatz and finally via Murgasse and Sporgasse to the final meeting at Karmeliterplatz.
During the meeting and the march, there were about ten violations of administrative and criminal law. Traffic was temporarily blocked. No one was injured.
