During a patrol shift on Sunday evening, police officers in Althofen noticed two young people who were behaving suspiciously and eventually ran away – not without reason, it turned out.
When the young people noticed the police patrol car in the Althofen area around 6 p.m., they ran away. The two officers immediately gave chase and one of the boys was stopped a short time later near a garbage bin. “About 30 grams of cannabis herb was found wrapped in a blanket. The 15-year-old from the St. Veit district apparently threw it away in advance,” the police said.

Investigation revealed that the teenager had purchased the cannabis herb from a 17-year-old, also from the St. Veit district. The second refugee was also identified. It concerns a 16-year-old boy who also lives in the St. Veit district. “It turned out to be related to an assault that was reported at the end of October,” a police officer said. All three teens are reported.
