Weapons depot hit? – The Israeli army attacked terrorists near a hospital

Date:

The Israeli army says it has attacked terrorists near a hospital in the city of Gaza. It was said that the group was planning an attack on the armed forces from a building next to the hospital. The army suspects that there was also a Hamas weapons depot nearby.

The reason: a huge explosion occurred during the air raid on Tuesday evening. The terrorists are said to have barricaded themselves in the building next to the hospital. According to its own statements, the Israeli army has also attacked terrorists and Hamas targets elsewhere in the Gaza Strip. On Monday, they took control of a “military stronghold” of the terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip. Missiles and rocket launchers are said to have been found at the site.

10,300 dead, more than 25,000 injured
The army had previously stated that it wanted to increase pressure in the now completely surrounded city of Gaza. More than 10,300 people, including 4,237 minors, have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the war began, according to the Hamas-controlled Health Ministry. More than 25,000 people are said to have been injured. The figures could not be independently verified.

The war was sparked by the worst massacre in Israel’s history, carried out by terrorists from the Islamist Hamas and other extremist Palestinian organizations in the border area on October 7 (see video above). On the Israeli side, more than 1,400 people were killed in the following days, including many women, children and young people.

Warning of further radicalization
UN human rights expert Francesca Albanese has now told the British newspaper ‘Guardian’ that Israel’s attempt to eliminate Hamas will only lead to further radicalization. The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians may continue to escalate. “We have now reached a dangerous point of no return and the chances of peaceful coexistence are at an all-time low. We are indeed staring into an abyss,” she said.

The Italian lawyer is rapporteur of the UN Human Rights Council on the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Israeli government accuses her of being biased in favor of the Palestinians. Albanians had previously criticized Israel’s “systematic suppression of Palestinian human rights.” “We raised the alarm in the international community and the human rights community, but no one really listened,” she said.
