A man fell overboard from the cruise ship Aida Prima off the coast of Norway on Tuesday evening and fell into the water. He survived the fall and is being treated at the ship’s hospital.
“We can confirm that a guest was rescued alive by the crew of ‘Aida Prima’ as part of a rescue operation,” an Aida Cruises spokesperson said when asked in Rostock on Tuesday.
The ship continued its journey
The man is being treated and receiving medical care in the ship’s hospital. The Aida Prima continued its journey from Stavanger in Norway to Hamburg that night. The cruise ship will reach Hamburg on November 8.
More than two weeks ago, a crew member fell overboard from another Aida cruise ship. The man was initially not found despite an intensive search by the British Coast Guard and the Aida Perla.
