Investigators from the Lindau (Bavaria) border police have made an unusual catch not far from the Austrian border. During a car check, officers found 41 bottles of champagne and two bottles of whisky.
According to the Lindau border police, the check took place in the evening hours of November 2 on the German highway A96 towards Austria. According to the police, the value of the 43 bottles that the two 16- and 27-year-old occupants were carrying is estimated at a total of around 2,000 euros. The duo could not provide proof of purchase.

The police assume stolen goods
