The driver and a 23-year-old were no longer completely sober late on Saturday evening on the L4 from Doren towards Krumbach. In the Moos plot, the man then lost control of his vehicle on a sloping road.
During an involuntary trip to the countryside, the alcoholic driver first hit an electric fence, then a traffic sign and a border post. The pickup then overturned and came to a stop after approximately 80 meters on the driver’s side on a steep pasture slope.
Free yourself from the vehicle
The men were lucky and were able to free themselves from the vehicle. They walked back to the street, where they encountered a motorist and rescuers arrived on the scene a short time later.
The two injured people were taken to the hospital in Bregenz by rescue operation. The vehicle, which was total, was recovered by the Florianijüngers near Doren and Egg.
