All drivers injured – An accident involving three motorcycles: one caught fire

Three motorcyclists were involved in an accident in Bad Schwanberg (Deutschlandsberg district) on Sunday afternoon: a 25-year-old slipped and slipped into another handlebar (69). A 31-year-old also fell. In addition, the vehicle of the 25-year-old man caught fire! The rescue helicopter was also deployed twice.

It all started on a right-hand bend in the Weinebenstrae in Bad Schwanberg: a 25-year-old from the southeastern part of Styria slipped there on Sunday afternoon, got into the left lane and eventually fell.

At the same time, a 69-year-old motorcyclist from the Weiz district was driving through the valley; the 25-year-old bumped into him. The immediately following driver from Graz (31) also fell as a result of the incident. The 25-year-old’s motorcycle then caught fire and burned out. The other two vehicles were also heavily damaged.

Helicopter had to fly twice
It is still unclear why the man slipped, he was taken to the regional hospital with injuries. The other two men also suffered undisclosed injuries and were taken to hospital by helicopter. The 31-year-old had to receive first aid at the scene of the accident.
