An open feeding hatch in a stable in the Tyrolean Zillertal killed a 46-year-old on Monday. The man fell almost three meters to the ground and suffered serious injuries. He was flown to the clinic in Innsbruck.
Around 12.30 pm the local man delivered concentrates to a stable in Kaltenbach. “While using a filling hose in the top hay rack of the stable, the man overlooked an open feed valve and fell through the valve,” police said.
With a rescue helicopter to the clinic
The 46-year-old fell about eight to ten feet to the ground. “The Austrian suffered serious injuries,” the director said. He was flown by rescue helicopter to the clinic in Innsbruck.
