In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a patrol from the Ampflwang police arrested a well-known 24-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district in the Attnang-Puchheim region. The reason: the young man had not had a valid driver’s license for a long time. Because he was also diagnosed with symptoms of substance abuse, he was asked to undergo a clinical examination; However, he refused the demonstration. Further travel was prohibited and the car key was taken away.

Caught several times
However, just a few minutes later, police discovered that the 24-year-old had removed his car from the police checkpoint. They were looking for him: a little later he was stopped by a civilian patrol in the area of ​​Atzbach. This time too he refused to go to the doctor. It is the tenth time that he has been caught driving without a license and again for refusing a clinical examination.

Wild maneuver
Another motorist apparently found it funny to have to make a “U-turn” with his Porsche on a soaked road at an intersection during the evening rush hour in Attnang-Puchheim. He then continued his journey towards Regau at high speed. But the police stopped him: when he was arrested, he showed understanding and paid an organ mandate. The reason for the daring maneuver: he got lost.
