Life-threatening escape at Lake Millstatt: Not wanting to lose his driver’s license, an 18-year-old raced through a police checkpoint – and through local areas at up to 120 km/h.
Around 9:55 p.m., the young Bleifuß fell into the police radar trap in Millstatt am See at a significantly excessive speed. Who wanted to stop the speeder and punish him. But the driver didn’t think to stop. The 18-year-old only got his driver’s license at the end of October – and he didn’t want to give it back.
And so the young man simply stepped on the gas – and gave the director a wild chase. He raced through the city at speeds of up to 120 km/h, cutting several corners and endangering the lives of other road users during daring overtaking maneuvers. Therefore, the police stopped the chase for safety reasons.
Police knocked on the 18-year-old’s door
Especially because they had the license plate of the getaway car anyway, and therefore also the home address of the suspected driver. And so a little later the officers knocked on the 18-year-old’s door in Radenthein. His driver’s license was subsequently returned to the authorities after just three weeks. A flood of ads awaits!
