Once again this year, the Carinthian Mountain Rescue Service, “Bergkrone” and the Carinthian Catholic Church will go to a devotion in the mountains every Sunday of Advent – regardless of the weather conditions.
Advent is known as the quietest time of the year, although it has long been one of the most hectic.
To counterbalance the hustle and bustle before Christmas, we started Advent walks 17 years ago to escape the stress and hectic pace in the mountains together.
What started as small hikes has now grown into a tradition and even the members of the mountain rescue teams from Bad Eisenkappel, Lieser-Maltatal and Villach, as well as their Italian comrades from the Soccorso Alpino, who guarantee the safety of the participants every year, are already watching Looking forward to this year’s Advent walks. Here you will find all dates, locations and times.
