Violent argument from trigger

The suspect stated at the hearing that his father first hit him during the argument and then hit him back. The 63-year-old suffered a ruptured brain and died despite resuscitation.

The court did not consider the fact that the father struck first to be a mitigating circumstance. Moreover, the suspect showed little remorse, the judge said. The 32-year-old took advantage of the fact that he was heavily drunk (1.7 per mille) and had no criminal record.
