At one point, during a mafia surveillance operation by the Neapolitan public prosecutor’s office, the first name Michaela came across a company director in the haze of the Camorra in the money laundering issue. Earlier there was talk of a ‘Capo de la Policia’ in Klagenfurt – and the alleged police scandal was over.
WKStA ordered confiscation of mobile phones
The Public Prosecutor’s Office for Economic Affairs and Corruption subsequently identified possible bribery and reported it to the Director of the State Police of Carinthia, Dr. Michaela Kohlweiß asks to retrieve the mobile phone. It soon turned out that Austria’s only police chief had come to the kiss on the hand completely innocently or as a victim of a mix-up.
The suspect reported to the police at his home address
The suspicious woman did not know Kohlweiß at all, but was registered at the same address with another head of a police unit in Klagenfurt until February. The investigation is still ongoing here.
