It would have been an event-rich week for Graz: this Tuesday was planned by a lecture by Michael Köhlmeier and Konrad P. Liesmann-Two Large events were announced for the weekend with USI Festival and Grazathlon. The events in the Literaturhaus Graz and the next Liberty will not take place on Tuesday either. Until Thursday there will be no versions in Opera Graz and SchausSpielhaus Graz. A big event would have been planned for Thursday at the Kasemattenbühne – the organizers decided to cancel “Auto van Orda” by Paul Pizzerna. The presentation of this year’s ski opening star in Schlading, which is planned for the coming week, has already been postponed.

The opening of the Playwright Festival on Wednesday in the next Liberty was also canceled on Tuesday evening.

KPö and ÖVP Cancel party conferences
With two State Party time, namely that of ÖVP and KPö, a politically explosive program would have been planned for this Saturday. In the afternoon the information arrived that the KPö event will be destroyed on Saturday. “It is now time to pause,” explains Robert Krotzer, Styrian Kpö State Chairman and Health Council of the Health Council of Graz.

We believe that sport combines that he can donate hope and bring people together.” They wanted to set a “sign of solidarity” on Saturday.
