Four teenagers who went camping in Wales tragically died during the trip. The young men, aged between 16 and 18, went missing in the Snowdonia National Park in north-west Wales. On Tuesday there was finally a sad certainty: their bodies were discovered in a half-submerged silver Ford Fiesta.
The boys were said to have been inexperienced campers. The students were last seen Sunday morning when they got into their vehicle and started traveling. The excursion goers probably underestimated the bad weather conditions. When they did not return as agreed on Monday morning, the emergency services were notified and a search was carried out.
The vehicle left the road on a bend
“The car left the road on a bend and the driver apparently lost control and ended up in a ditch in the water. The accident may have occurred as early as Sunday afternoon, but police were not notified until more than 24 hours later,” a source told Daily Mail. The wreckage was found Tuesday lying on the roof and partially submerged, emergency officials said.
“It has been extremely wet and the rivers have been extremely high over the last few days,” councilor June Jones told the media. “It’s obviously November, the weather is bad. “The weather is too bad to go out, especially for someone who does not know the roads very well,” said the politician.
