It must have been wild on Saturday evening for a snack bar in the Tyrolean Wörgl (Kufstein district). A 37-year-old man attacked several guests with a knife. He had been arrested. It is still unclear why the Serb panicked.
Shortly before 6:30 p.m., three guests from the bar went outside to smoke. But suddenly the 37-year-old spoke to them in a foreign language and threatened them with a kitchen knife that was about 30 centimeters long. “He asked two other people who were also standing in front of the same snack bar to stop laughing because otherwise he would kill them,” police said.
Serb is now in prison
But that’s not all: in the city center of Wörgl, the brutal man with the knife is said to have cut the tires of at least seven parked cars.
But shortly after receiving the report, a police patrol was able to track down and arrest the armed Serb. By order of the Public Prosecution Service, the suspect was transferred to prison in Innsbruck.
The Wörgl police station is looking for other victims.
