Have you heard of Aitana Lopez? The fitness model is currently making the Instagram scene crazy, turning her followers’ heads with sexy photos, arousing envy with her perfect body and also having a sense of humor. But Aitana doesn’t even exist. She is the AI project of an advertising agency – and yet she “earns” 10,000 euros per month.
AI model Aitane has no charisma, always has time, is always in a good mood, doesn’t incur travel expenses, has no weight fluctuations, never acts like a diva and still makes a lot of money.
She’s the perfect influencer and cash cow, she seems so authentic and real that even a ‘world famous actor’ would have asked her out.
The good man is not alone in this, because on Aitana’s Instagram profile her 172,000 followers are flooded with praise, ambiguous offers and even expressions of love. She is the ‘perfect woman’, ‘incredibly beautiful’ and ‘a feast for the eyes’.
But the advertising agency that ‘launched’ Aitana doesn’t just make a profit from her ‘invention’.
She also faces harsh criticism. One of the criticisms is that the Instagram profile does not clearly state that Aitana is a person who does not exist in reality.
“Hot Bot” by “Genies”
“Whoever created this AI girl is a genius. This greed is real and sad,” one user wrote. Others call the AI model a “hot bot.” “I don’t understand how people can believe this is a real person,” one user asks.
Another wrote: “The detail generated for the AI is astonishing, even showing some of the arteries in the neck and the bones of the collarbone.”
But the astonishing – almost frightening – majority are excited about Aitana. Most of your followers probably haven’t recognized the hoax (yet?)…
