Diagnosis and treatment are sometimes difficult and special public outpatient clinics are also closing again. One thing first: Long Covid should not be taken lightly. Tens of thousands of international studies have now shown “that Long Covid is a serious physical disease with strong social and economic consequences,” says university professor. Dr. Kathryn Hoffmann from the Center for Public Health at MedUni Vienna. And without measures to protect against infections, this will only increase in the coming years.
